Product description
This recall involves a wooden barbell-shaped rattle. The two weights of the barbells are painted white with coloured dots and the bar connecting the weights is in natural wood. The dimensions of the rattle are 14.5 centimetres x 4.5 centimetres x 4.5 centimetres. The affected rattle can be identified by the model number 07610 and the UPC 3 700217 376109.
Only the Confetti Maracas Barbell rattle baring the following production code are recalled: 2542/HX201007-02/J07610.
Hazard identified
The barbells can split apart and release metal balls that can potentially be ingested, posing a choking hazard.
Health Canada has received one incident report where a 6 months old child broke open a rattle while playing with it. No injury was reported.
