Product description

This recall involves flexible metallic toe mood rings that can change colour. The recalled rings clip on to the toe.

Hazard identified

Health Canada's sampling and evaluation program has revealed that these toe rings contain lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or illnesses related to the use of these products.

Number sold

Approximately 684 of the recalled products were sold at various stores in Quebec.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from November 2004 to March 2010.
