Product description
This recall involves a limited number of Fellowes® heated foot rests identified by item #80409 that may have been sold without a Safety/Serial label affixed to the bottom as shown in the image entitled "Missing serial label" on this Web page.
Only products without this label are subject to recall.
Hazard identified
The units affected by this recall may have an important safety label missing which contain information to prevent a user from misusing the product.
Neither Fellowes Canada Ltd nor Health Canada has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this footrest.
Number sold
Approximately 822 of the footrests were sold across Canada at Basic Office Products, BPGI, Ingram Micro, Lyreco, Office Max, Synnex Supplies, Staples, Multi-Tact and Papeterie Atlas.
Time period sold
The affected PCs were sold from January 2011 to August 2012.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
