It has been identified that the power drive function of the citadel plus bed may potentially be operated with only the left-handle safety switch depressed on the condition that the bed is driven forward and encounters heavy resistance (i.e. steep slopes in excess of greater than 7 degrees). This is due to a software deficiency that has been detected after receiving several customer complaints.
