Hazard identified
The recalled devices are not certified to Canadian standards and have not been evaluated for safety hazards. The recalled Christmas lights may pose an electrical or fire hazard.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these lights.
Number sold
Approximately 3,200 units of the recalled Christmas lights were sold at Liquidation World stores in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from October 2009 to February 2010.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
