Product description
This recall involves two styles of toddler's long-sleeved pyjama sets, made of 100% cotton by Souris Mini. The pyjama sets come in various sizes.

Hazard identified
The recalled sleepwear does not meet the design and flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.
Children's sleepwear that is loose fitting or that has loose edges can contact ignition sources such as stove elements, candles, and matches more easily than tight-fitting sleepwear. Once ignited the sleepwear can burn rapidly and cause severe burns to large areas of the child's body resulting in shock and sometimes death.
Neither Health Canada nor Souris Mini has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this sleepwear.
Number sold
Approximately 1,238 sets of the recalled polo pyjamas and 82 sets of the sleepers were sold at various Souris Mini retail stores in Quebec.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from February 2010 to May 2010.
