Product description
This recall involves girls Ladybug Halloween costume sold under the Danson Decor brand across Canada. The costume comes in a long sleeve black and red dress with red wings and a black headband with antennas.
The black and red ladybug costume can be identified by the UPC 062615615710 and the item number H1571.
Hazard identified
Health Canada's sampling and testing program revealed that the marabou trim on the skirt of the costume does not meet the requirements for textile flammability under Canadian law.
The marabou trim on this costume could easily catch fire if exposed to a flame or other ignition source such as a match, lighter, candle, stove element or spark from a fireplace and cause burns to consumers.
Neither Health Canada nor Danson Decor has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this Halloween costume.

Approximately 460 of the recalled children's Ladybug Halloween costumes were distributed in various retail and novelty stores across Canada.
