Product description
This recall involves kid's and baby's Havaianas flip flops with decorative paint. The models being recalled in Canada are as follows:

Hazard identified
The decorative paint on the sole of the flip flops contains lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead can be toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Health Canada has not received any reports of illnesses related to the use of the recalled flip flops.

Number sold
Approximately 1,530 pairs of the recalled flip flops were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled flip flops were sold from December 2006 to March 2009.
