The timer in the pump could cause an unintended imbalance in the pH of treated water, which could lead to irritation or burning of the skin or throat.
What to do:
Immediately stop using the recalled pump and contact the installing servicer, dealer or contractor to schedule an appointment for a free replacement part.
CHEM-TECH XP Pump System
The CHEM-TECH XP Pump System is used to dispense chemicals into a home's water supply in order to provide proper pH levels and biologically safe water. The models and date code (01/09-12/15) are located on the bottom of the pump.
The timer in the pump could cause an unintended imbalance in the pH of treated water which could lead to irritation or burning of the skin or throat.
As of April 6, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
Approximately 257 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

The affected products were sold from January 2009 to December 2015.

Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled product and contact their installing servicer, dealer or contractor to schedule an appointment for a replacement part free of charge.
