Product description
This recall involves Chandelle Multi-Lilac Feather Boas sold under the brand "Great Pretenders" by Creative Education of Canada, Inc. The feather boa is purple, pink and white, and can be identified by the UPC 771877209109 and SKU number 20910. The SKU number is shown on the cardboard card attached to the product.
Hazard identified
Testing done by Health Canada has revealed that the feather boa does not meet the requirements for textile flammability under Canadian law.
The feather boa could easily catch fire if exposed to a flame or other ignition source such as a match, lighter, candle, stove element or spark from a fireplace and cause burns to consumers.
Neither Health Canada nor Creative Education of Canada, Inc. has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of this feather boa.
Number sold
Approximately 216 of the recalled products were sold at various independent stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from July 2009 to May 2010.

Manufactured in China.
