Ottawa, October 2, 2013 - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Original Foods are warning the public not to consume certain Original Brand Original Halloween Kiss candies described below because the product may contain harmful pieces of metal.

The following product, which says "made by Bonbons Associés" on the individual wrapper, was sold in bulk at locations across Canada. Retail-sized packages are not affected by this recall.

Consumers who are unsure if they have affected product are advised to check with their retailer.

There have been no reported injuries associated with the consumption of this product.

The manufacturer, Original Foods, Quebec division, Quebec, QC is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
