Issue

The impacted control panels can allow the operator to unintentionally override the secondary entrapment protection system when the control panel is paired with both an external-facing keypad and a wall-mount operator, and the consumer initiates a door closing cycle using the keypad when there is an obstruction. The override can only occur when the consumer presses and releases “ENTER” a second time within 60 seconds of the initial push.

As of February 3, 2023, the company has received one report of incident in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries.
