Product description
This recall involves the black Century Pro Grip™ welding extension cord (50A - 250 V) measuring 7.62 metres (25 feet). The extension cord features lighted power check ends with pull out handles and can be identified by part number D13308025S and style number 8/3 STW.
Hazard identified
The affected products have not been tested to determine whether they are compliant with the Canadian Standards for product safety and may pose a safety hazard.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these extension cords.
Number sold
Approximately 850 units of the affected extension cords were sold at TSC Stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The affected extension cords were sold from May 2010 through August 2011.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.
