Issue
Reports of products having torn corrugated breathing tube.
- Should a tear be detected before use, a delay may be experienced while another product is located.
- Should a tear be detected during use, this may result in a leak and insufficient air supply to the patient with potential desaturation.
Medical intervention in the form of a replacement of the defective tubing would be necessary for this instance.
