Product description
This recall involves the carry handles for Bugaboo Cameleon strollers and Bugaboo Donkey strollers with the following serial numbers:
Bugaboo Cameleon
- S/N 04011090900001 to S/N 04031101009999
- S/N 08011090900001 to S/N 08021100800386
- S/N 140100093600531 to S/N 140103123350418
Bugadoo Donkey
- S/N 170101105300001 to S/N 170104130900500
Hazard identified
The white button on the carry handle may pop out when the Bugaboo Cameleon or Bugaboo Donkey pram body is placed on the ground or on an unstable surface. This may cause the carry handle to detach and result in a potential fall hazard and choking hazard.
Bugaboo International BV has received 58 incidents of the carry handle white buttons failing in North America with no reported injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 3,869 units of the Cameleon model were sold in Canada and 38,653 were sold in the United States.
Approximately 576 units of the Donkey model were sold in Canada and 7,703 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The recalled Bugaboo Cameleon strollers were manufactured from September 2009 to June 2012 and the Bugaboo Donkey strollers were sold from January 2011 to December 2012 at various children retailers across Canada.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

Consumers should immediately remove the carry handle from the affected strollers and contact Bugaboo to receive a free replacement carry handle.
