Carlisle Foodservice Melamine Cups and Mugs
Product description
This recall involves nine models of Carlisle cups and mugs sold in a variety of sizes from 207 to 473 millilitres (7 to 16 ounces), and in the following colours: white, green, red, brown, black, ocean blue, sand, honey yellow, bone and sunset orange.
They are approximately 5 to 7.6 centimetres (2 to 3 inches) tall and are made of melamine. The name "Carlisle OKC, OK" and model number are imprinted on the bottom, along with "Made in China" and "NSF." Some may also include the model name and size, for example, "Durus 7 oz cup."

Hazard identified
The cups and mugs can break when exposed to hot liquids, posing a burn hazard to consumers.
In the United States, there have been three reports of cups and mugs breaking. No injuries have been reported.
Neither Health Canada nor Rabco Foodservice Inc. has received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these mugs.

Approximately 864 of the recalled products were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from January 2011 to December 2011.
