Hazard identified
The foot switch on affected lamps may overheat, posing a potential fire hazard.
As of February 13, 2020, RH has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, RH has received six reports of the lamp's foot switch melting, overheating or catching fire, resulting in five incidents of minor property damage to the flooring. No injuries have been reported.
Number sold
Approximately 22 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 686 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from November 2012 to December 2019.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled units and contact RH US, LLC in order to receive a full refund.
