Product description
This recall involves Calikids nylon waterproof shell jacket, style S1654, with a drawstring at the bottom of the outerwear. The jackets range from size 2T to 6Y, and are available in blue, pink, red and yellow.
Hazard identified
Drawstrings on children’s outerwear can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors or other moving objects, posing a significant entanglement hazard to children.
As of August 7, 2018 the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 3,238 units of the affected products were distributed in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from March 2016 to July 2018 in Canada.
