Product description
This recall involves the inflatable inner tube sold with the Fruit Tutu Bikini Swimwear Set. The inner tube is pink with a white and yellow flower print on it. The inner tube has an inner diameter of 13 centimetres (5.25 inches) and an outer diameter of 23 centimetres (9 inches).
The swimwear set is two-piece fruit print bikini for teddy bears. The model numbers for the swimwear are 017220, 117220 and 417220 which can be found on the Build-a-Bear cardboard tag. The UPC numbers included in this recall are 000000017220, 000000117220 and 000000417220.
Hazard identified
The inner tube accessory can be pulled over a small child's head, posing a strangulation hazard to children.
Build-A-Bear Workshop® has received one report of a 3-year old girl pulling the inner tube over her head and having difficulty removing it.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to use of the inner tube.

Number sold
Approximately 1,170 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 19,720 units were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from April 2011 to August 2011 by Build-a-Bear Workshop® stores and online at www.buildabear.com.
