This recall involves Btwin bike carrier adaptor bars. The product model code is 8357813, the part number is 2033547 and the bar code is 3608409911964.  

Hazard identified

The security arm holding the bike in place could open and cause the bike to fall.

As of December 2, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

Approximately 24 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from April 2018 to June 2019 in Canada and Mexico.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to the nearest Décathlon store for a refund.
