Beaba Express Baby Bottle Warmers

Product description

This recall involves the Beaba Express Steam Bottle Warmer, which uses steam to heat baby bottles or baby food. The bottle warmer is green with an orange temperature dial. The name "Beaba" is printed on the base. The model number 9602 is printed on the underside of the warmer.

Hazard identified

The bottle warmers can overheat liquids and baby food, posing a burn hazard to adults and babies.

Williams-Sonoma has received 10 reports in North America of bottles overheating, including one report of an adult who received a finger burn from touching a hot bottle.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these bottle warmers.

Number sold

Approximately 7 units of the recalled bottle warmers were sold at Williams-Sonoma retail stores in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.

Time period sold

The recalled bottle warmers were sold from June 2010 to July 2010.
