Product description
This recall involves the Electric Bike Battery Chargers by Daymak Inc. The affected chargers can be identified by the model number XTD2000.
Hazard identified
The affected chargers have not been tested to determine whether they are compliant with the Canadian Standards for product safety and may pose a safety hazard.
Daymak Inc. has received one reported incident where the charger melted and burnt to the point where it made a hole on its housing.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these affected chargers.

Approximately 50 units of the affected chargers were sold in Ontario.
Time period sold
The affected chargers were sold in Canada since 2010.
