The recall involves battery chargers sold with various Kidsquad Mudslinger 12V ride-on cars. The battery chargers are used to charge the ride-on cars. The chargers bear an unauthorized UL marking on the label which is found on the outside label of the charger.

As of August 14, 2019, the company has received 2 reports of incidents of the battery overheating in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
