Intertex LLC B-Air VP-33 Blower Fans
This recall involves B-Air VP-33 blower fans. The VP-33 is an indoor use, cord-connected vent power air mover, or blower fan. The fans come in different colours.
Units produced prior to January 2018 are affected by this recall. The 4 digits under the ETL certification indicate the month and year of the production. The date code 1117 would represent November 2017.

As of July 14, 2021, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received 5 reports of overheating failure, and no reports of injuries.
The company reported that 5,064 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 29,000 units were sold in the United States.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Intertex LLC for a repair kit that includes a free replacement capacitor and easy to follow instructions.
