Product description
This recall involves all ASKO Dishwashers sold in stainless steel and custom panel ready options. The model and serial numbers are printed inside the dishwasher on the right side of the tub. The dishwasher dimensions are 23-7/8" wide by 32-3/4" - 35.75" tall by 22" deep and are available in pocket, tubular or pro handles.

The dishwashers internal wiring can overheat, melt, or catch fire, posing a fire hazard.
As of September 24th, 2019, the company has received no reports of incidents in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 69 reports of incidents and no reports of injuries.
Number sold
Approximately 4,324 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 26,600 were sold in the United States.
Time period sold
The affected products were sold from October 2016 to July 2019.
