Product description

This recall involves Argon 18 Electron-Pro 2020 bikes, matte black in colour with a white "Argon 18" logo and red accents (on the top tube, the inside of the front fork and the inside of the rear triangle). Sprint and Pursuit Electron Pro bikes are both sold as "framesets". The affected models were sold after June 2019.

Hazard identified

The defect in the steerer module that comes with the bike, used to assemble the traditional bar on the front fork, may pose a fall hazard to users.

As of November 6, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.

Number sold

The company reported that 29 units of the affected product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The affected products were sold from June 2019 to September 2020.
