Product description

The recalled puzzle consists of ten wooden multi-coloured numbers, from 0 to 9, and a wooden board with cut-outs for the number pieces. The puzzle was sold under item number 08-0802112.

Hazard identified

Health Canada has established that the number "1" puzzle piece presents a choking hazard to young children due to its small size.

Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this wooden number puzzle.

Number sold

Approximately 13,306 of the recalled wooden number puzzles were sold at Dollarama stores across Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled wooden number puzzles were sold from July 2007 to October 2008.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
