"Ugly Teeth" Party Favors
Product description
The fake Halloween teeth are painted white, black and orange with brown gums. They were sold as party favors in packages of eight. "Ugly Teeth", "Amscan", "Party Favors", "Value Pack Party Favors", UPC 0-48419-65002-7 and UPC 0-48419-61663-4 are printed on the packaging.
Hazard identified
Surface paints on the recalled products contain lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects. There have been no reported injuries.

Number sold
In Canada, 571 units of the Ugly Teeth were sold to a variety of stores across the country (e.g., The Party Mart, A Buck or Two, etc.). Amscan is calling all accounts directly to have the recalled products immediately removed from sale and returned to them.
Time period sold
Sold at various retailers nationwide from January 2006 through October 2007 for approx. $2.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled Halloween teeth away from children and return them to the place where purchased for a full refund or discard in their household waste.
