Product description
The recalled forks have a clear coating over black painted carbon fibre, with the words "Wolf Superlite" and related logo just below the crown on each fork leg, and the words "SL" on each leg above the fork blade dropouts.
There is a True Temper CRT™ logo on the inside of both fork legs.
The recalled forks could have been included on the following bicycle models: R3, R3 SL, Soloist Carbon, Soloist Carbon SL, and certain P3 Carbon framesets and complete bicycles.
Hazard identified
The forks steerer can break during normal use. In some circumstances this can cause the rider to lose control, fall and suffer serious injuries.
The Importer, Cervélo SA, has received three Canadian reports of fork steerers cracking or breaking, including one Canadian injury which resulted in minor abrasions and one broken wrist.
Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these water bicycle forks.
Number sold
Approximately 1,750 ot the recalled bicycle forks were sold across Canada.
Time period sold
The bicycle forks were sold from November 2005 through July 2007 at independent bicycle dealers nationwide.
Place of origin
Manufactured in China.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using bicycles equipped with the recalled forks.
Consumers may contact their authorized Cervélo dealer to have a free replacement fork installed.
