Product description

The Sky Scrambler toy helicopters have yellow, red or blue decals; product # 1610865; UPC # 694202303351; BH26047 is printed on the helicopter tail.

Hazard identified

The rechargeable lithium ion battery inside the helicopters can overheat, catch fire, and ignite nearby combustibles, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.

In the United States, two reports of incidents of the toy helicopter igniting, including one burn injury to a consumer's fingertip, have been reported. No incidents or injuries have been reported to the Canadian importer, Innovage Canada Limited.

Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this toy.

Number sold

Approximately 10,000 of the toys were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The toys were sold from approximately June 2007 through May 2008.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
