Product description
This recall involves various styles of cotton blend children's tailored pyjama sets. The pyjama sets come in 8 different prints and various colours and are sold in sizes xs to xxl. The pyjama sets are labelled as 100% polyester.
The style numbers included in this recall are: 01680/0034, 01680/0035, 01680/0036, 01680/0037, 01680/0038, 01680/0039, 01680/0040 and 01680/0044.
Hazard identified
Health Canada has established that these products do not meet the flammability requirements for children's sleepwear under Canadian law.
Loose-fitting children's sleepwear can contact stove elements, candles and matches more readily and once ignited will burn rapidly, potentially resulting in severe burns to large areas of the child's body.
Health Canada has not received any reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of these children's sleepwear items.
Number sold
Approximately 6,278 of the recalled children's sleepwear were sold in La Senza Girl stores across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled children's sleepwear was sold from October 2008 to November 2008.

What you should do
Consumers are advised not to let their children wear the recalled sleepwear.
Consumers may return the recalled sleepwear to any La Senza Girl store for a full refund.
