Product description
The recalled product is a 3 wheeled stroller with black or red canvas seat and canopy that can be used in single or double mode.
Dash strollers with the date code CD 0108, located on the inside of the metal frame, are affected by this recall. See photos to locate the date code.
Hazard identified
One of the latching mechanisms, which lock the stroller in the 'use' position, can fail to fully engage posing a risk that the stroller may fold unintentionally.
The Canadian distributor, Can-Am Baby Corp., has received five reports of incidents from Canadian retailers and consumers involving latches disengaging while the stroller is in use. No injuries have been reported.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of this stroller.
Number sold
Approximately 140 units were distributed/sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled stroller was distributed/sold between February 2008 and May 2008 at various independant retailers of children's products.
