Product description

This recall involves metallic necklaces with frog pendants and "Best Friends"' logo.

Hazard identified

The recalled frog pendants contain excessive levels of lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Health Canada has not received any reports of illness or incidents related to the use of the recalled frog pendants.

Number sold

Approximately 2,271 frog pendants were sold at Ardene retail stores across Canada.

Time period sold

The frog pendants were sold from June 2007 to December 2008.
