Product description
This recall involves several styles of stuffed musical dolls by Le Rouet. The dolls come in various colourful dresses and have long hair. The dolls have a wind-up musical feature and are packaged in a white box covered with small flowers. "Poupée Musical(e) Doll" is printed on the package.
The product is identified by one of the following SKU numbers on the package: 1066970, 1066971, 1066972, 1066973, 1066974, 1066975, 1066976, 1066977, 1066978, 1066979, 1066980, and 1066981.
Hazard identified
Health Canada has established that the small plastic eyes can be easily separated from the doll and these pose a choking hazard to young children.
Health Canada has not received any reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of these musical dolls.
Number sold
Approximately 11,654 units of the recalled musical dolls were sold at Le Rouet stores in Quebec.
Time period sold
The recalled dolls were sold from June 2008 to December 2008.
