Product description
Blue floral printed tote bag with a green lining.
Hazard identified
A few cases of minor skin irritation have been reported to Chapters and Indigo in relation to the handling of this tote bag.
Initial testing has revealed elements found in the manufacture of these bags may cause these irritations.
No other tote bags or products are affected by this recall.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incident or injury related to the use of these tote bags.
Number sold
10,000 tote bags were distributed nationally.
Time period sold
Consumers were given the tote bag as a Mother's Day gift with purchase in-store only between April 30 and May 2, 2008.

What you should do
Consumers are advised to cease using the tote bag.
Chapters and Indigo have voluntarily removed all affected product from their stores. Consumers may return the tote bag to any Chapters or Indigo store for a $20 gift card.
