Product description
This recall involves Look Ultra hair irons with model number 5519930 that were purchased between August 1, 2009 to November 9, 2009. The recalled irons were sold in red packaging with "Look Ultra Iron" written on it.
Hazard identified
The recalled irons may not have a 30 minute Auto Shut Off feature, which was advertised on the product packaging, and could pose a risk of burn or fire.
Chatters Canada Limited has not received any reports of injuries or damage related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 42 irons were sold at Chatters salons across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from August 2009 to November 2009.
Place of origin
Manufactured in Korea.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hair irons and return the iron to their nearest Chatters salon for an exchange or store credit of equivalent value.
