Product description

This recall involves the Newbury Travel Mug, sold under the brand "Life is Good". The mugs are blue, green or orange, and have a navy blue lid. They are 19 cm (7 ½ inches) tall and have the "Life is Good" trademark printed on it, along with an image of a heart, peace symbol or daisy.

Hazard identified

The travel mugs can become excessively hot to the touch when filled with hot liquids, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

Life is Good Canada Inc. has received one report of a non-serious burn to the hand.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these travel mugs.

Number sold

Approximately 155 recalled travel mugs were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled products were sold from August 2009 to September 2009.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
