Leopard Children's High Chair by Ikea
Product description
This recall involves Leopard children's high chairs by Ikea. The frame of the high chair is either black or white, and the seat is either red, black, white, or a transparent grey.
Hazard identified
The snap locks that secure the seat to the frame can break, posing a fall hazard to children. Also, the pieces that break off can pose a choking hazard to children.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these high chairs. Ikea has received 11 reports worldwide of failing snap locks, including one report of a child falling through the frame. In addition, the firm has one report of a child mouthing a detached snap lock.

Approximately 92 of the recalled products were sold in Ikea stores across Canada.

The recalled products were sold from October 2009 to December 2009.
