Product description
Kviby four drawer, white/patterned chest of drawers with article number 201.080.90.
The chests of drawers with the date stamp 0817 or earlier are included in this recall. The dimensions of the recalled chests of drawers are 136 cm by 107 cm.
Hazard identified
The glass knobs sold with the chests of drawers can break and cause injury if the screw fitting used to fix the drawer knob to the drawer front is over tightened.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of the product.
Number sold
Approximately 1,373 of the recalled chests of drawers were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled chests of drawers were sold from April 2007 through July 2008 at various Ikea stores across Canada.
