Kool Charmz Pop Charm

Product description

This recall involves the Kool Charmz Pop Charm pink rubber bracelet with cherries, penguin and green hand rubber charms. The product is identified by item number 07532 and UPC number 062823075320, which can be found on the front of the package.

Hazard identified

Testing by Health Canada revealed that the charms contain lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.

Health Canada has not received any reports of illness or incidents related to the use of this item.

Number sold

Approximately 35,280 of the recalled charms were sold at various discount and dollar stores across Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled charms were sold from October 2007 to November 2008.
