Product description

This recall involves the 2007 model year K2 Auto snowboard bindings.

They were sold in black or white. "K2" and "Auto" are printed on the toe strap.

Hazard identified

The cable that links the toe strap to the binding could break, posing a fall hazard to snowboarders.

No incidents or injuries have been reported to Health Canada.

Number sold

475 pairs of bindings were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

Product was sold between August 2007 through May 2008.

What you should do

Consumers should stop riding their 2007 model year K2 Auto series snowboard bindings immediately.

Consumers may bring them back to the shop where they were purchased.

The strap cable will be replaced for free.
