Product description

The recalled necklace consists of an illuminated plastic star attached to a cord that links to a battery compartment.

Hazard identified

The necklace may break apart resulting in small parts that can pose a choking hazard to consumers.

Health Canada has not received any reports of injuries or incidents related to the use of these recalled necklaces.

Number sold

The number of necklaces distributed is not known.

Time period sold

The items affected by this recall were distributed at the 2008 Toronto Santa Claus Parade during the pre-parade breakfast and along the parade route.
