Hazard identified
Health Canada has established that the home fragrance products do not meet the mandatory labelling required under Canadian law.
The home fragrances lack the symbols and warnings required for flammable and corrosive products. The lack of labelling information including appropriate warnings could lead to serious injury.
Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these home fragrances.
Number sold
Approximately 7,000 of the recalled home fragrances were sold on-line, as well as at various retail stores in Quebec and Ontario.
Time period sold
The time period during which the recalled home fragrances were sold is not known.
Place of origin
Manufactured in Canada.
