Product description

The BC-50 battery chargers were included in the FinePix F100fd retail box or sold separately as an optional accessory for the Fujifilm FinePix F50fd and F100fd digital cameras.

Hazard identified

The plastic power plug portion on the unit may crack or become detached, posing a potential for an electrical shock or a short hazard to consumers.

Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these battery chargers.

Number sold

Approximately 870 of the battery chargers were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The battery chargers were sold from April 2008 to October 2008 at specialty photography stores and electronics retailers.

Place of origin

Manufactured in China.
