Fixed Roof Brackets
Product description
This recall involves fixed roof brackets, which are sold as individual units or in cases of 12. These brackets are used on sloped roofs and hold up to a 2 inch by 10 inch board that is used as a working platform on the roof.
The recalled products can be identified by UPC 6-27308-97261-9 or UPC 6-27308-97241-1.
Hazard identified
Some brackets were manufactured with poor welds on the base. Tests by Roofers World Inc. have found that there is a risk of the bracket failing when weight is being supported by the bracket.
Neither Health Canada nor Roofers World Inc. has received reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 9,570 recalled brackets were sold in Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from March 2009 and November 2009.

Manufactured in Canada.
