Product description
A sound-making, battery-operated toy kitchen with play fridge, stove, toaster, clock and sink. The toy is age classified for children from 6 months to 3 years. Product numbers L5067 English and L7137 French.
Hazard identified
Small pieces can detach from the clock hands and from the faucet. These pieces pose a choking hazard to young children. In Canada, Mattel has received three reports of small pieces separating from the product. Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injury related to the use of the toy.
Number sold
Approximately 14,900 units of the affected toys (12,500 English (L5067) and 2,400 French (L7137)) were sold across the country by six Canadian retailers/distributors: Zellers, Wal-Mart, Toys 'R Us, Telesales Customer Accounts, Sears Canada Inc. (Catalogue), and D.I.K. Dist'n Kirouac Inc.

What you should do
Consumers are instructed to immediately take the toy away from children.
Consumers are further instructed to contact Fisher-Price to make arrangements to directly receive a repair kit. Consumers can visit Mattel and Fisher-Price Customer Service or contact Mattel at 1-888-812-7187 (English and French).
