Product description
This recall involves power bars with 2, 3, 4, or 10 electrical outlets by Bretford. The recalled power bars have steel housing and a 20-foot power cord. The 2 and 3 outlet power bars are attached to a steel cart; the 4 outlet power bar is attached to a cart, workstation, or table; and the 10 outlet power bar is attached to a workstation or table.
Hazard identified
The recalled power bars are not certified to Canadian standards and have not been evaluated for safety hazards.
Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.
Number sold
Approximately 22,000 units of power bars were sold in Ontario.
Time period sold
The recalled products were sold from June 1999 to June 2009.
Place of origin
Manufactured in the United States.
