Product description
The suspension fork is located on the bicycle's front wheel. They are white or black. "Magura" and "MD100R" or "MD80R" are printed on the forks.
Hazard identified
The front bicycle suspension fork can break, causing the rider to crash.
Health Canada has not received reports of incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these suspension forks.
Number sold
Approximately 54 of the recalled suspension forks were sold across Canada.
Time period sold
The recalled suspension forks were sold from August 2007 to November 2008.

What you should do
Consumers should immediately stop using bicycles equipped with the recalled suspension forks.
For more information, consumers may contact Magura at 1-800-448-3876 or visit the firm's Web site or Magura Controls Recall to compare their serial number with the recalled suspension fork list to see if it has been affected.
If the suspension fork is part of the recall, it should be returned to Magura USA where the affected fork will be fitted with a new lower leg assembly, bushings, seals, lubrication oil, decals and a brake hose guide free of charge.
