Product description
This recall involves "CTG Kool Charmz" charm bracelet gift set (item # 60901). The item number can be found on the back of the package.
The charm bracelet gift set contains 1 bracelet with 5 interchangable charms. The charms are multicoloured, with glitter and nautical themes. The labelling on the package says "for ages 8 and up" and "lead free/nickel free".
Hazard identified
Testing by Health Canada revealed that the clasp in the charm bracelet gift set contains lead in excess of the allowable limit. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Health Canada has not received reports of illness or incidents related to the use of this item.
