Product description

The recalled product is sold in 350 g (14 oz.) aerosol containers with the following UPC code: 779854003016. It is a carburetor cleaner for marine and road vehicles.

Hazard identified

Tests conducted by Health Canada have shown that this product does not meet the requirements under Canadian law with respect to flame projection.

The length of the flame projection generated by this product exceeds the Canadian regulated limit thereby posing a potential fire hazard.

No incident or case involving injuries has been reported to Health Canada in relation to the use of this product.

Number sold

84 units of the recalled product were sold in Canada.

Time period sold

The recalled product was sold from January 2008 to August 2008.
